PILOT SOFT SKILLS

Crew Resource Management

The objective of Crew Resource Management is to create an understanding of the role that Human Factors play in aircraft accidents and incidents and through that understanding improve flight safety. We offer both Initial and Refresher CRM training. CRM focuses on interpersonal communication, leadership and decision making on the flight deck with the goal to improve air safety.

Safety & Emergency Procedures Training

SEPT training focuses on providing flight deck crew members with awareness of their responsibilities towards passenger’s safety.

RNAV/GNSS/GPS

The SACAA has accepted GPS as a suitable IFR Supplement Air Navigation System. Our GNSS course is designed to equip the client with the theoretical and practical knowledge to safely operate in GNSS/RNAV/GPS operations.

Dangerous Goods

SACAA regulations require that flight crew and load planners attend recurrent DG training within 24 months of the previous training to ensure knowledge is current. Upon successful completion of this course, crew members will be issued with a certificate of competency as required in terms of SACARS.

TCAS II / ACAS

Our course provides flight crew personnel with a comprehensive SACAA approved course of the Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance Systems and Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems. This includes detailed and various features which these systems incorporate, to alert flight crews to possible conflicts with other traffic and terrain. TCAS ratings are valid for 12 months.

EGPWS

Our half day EGPWS workshop is designed to equip you with the theoretical and practical knowledge to safely operate with EGPWS equipment in your aircraft.

RVSM Workshop

Our half day RVSM workshop is designed to equip you with the theoretical and practical knowledge to safely operate with RVSM airspace globally. 43 Advanced Training is accredited by SACAA to certify the client for RVSM operations.

AIRLINE TRAINING

Airline Multi Crew Co-Operation (MCC)

MCC training is the first essential step in developing important foundational knowledge that will underpin a successful airline career.

Airline Jet Orientation (JOC)

This course bridges the operational gap between the handling skills required for a straight-wing propeller-driven aircraft and the pilot competencies and handling techniques required for a Jet Transport aircraft.

Airline Pilot Standard Multi Crew Co-Operation
(APS MCC)

43 Air School has tailor-made an airline standard MCC Program that not only satisfies EASA and SACAA guidelines but is designed to be the first essential step in developing and training a candidate with knowledge and skills required for disciplined airline flight deck operations.

Type Rating A320 or B737NG

This is an Airbus A320 or Boeing B737NG Type Rating Course for candidates that have the necessary experience. This Course develops the required skills and competencies for the issue of an A320 or B737NG Type Rating. Aircraft Base Training will be required for candidates who do not satisfy regulator Zero Flight Time requirements.
